Migraines

I have a horrible migraine today.   I take Zomig for the pain.

And, I seem to want to eat all day.   

Does anyone suffer from migraines and if so, does it affect your eating?

This is just anecdotal, but my friend that had chronic, horrible migraines almost daily for years and years got off her anti-depressants 1 year ago, and you guessed it--she has not had one migraine since. Good luck with yours. They are just awful.

I take Maxalt, it works super fast and it doesn't cause me any extra hunger.

Ugh. I've had chronic DAILY migraines for years.

After lots of trial and error what works for me is this:

Seasonique Birth control (so I can limit when I get my period to 4x a year...hormone changes are a big contributor to my migraines)
Topamax
Relpax for the pain, combo'd with Advil if it's really horrible
and...Botox every 10 weeks. Honestly, Botox has been my miracle cure. All of those other things helped limit my migraines to 10-15/month, but with Botox, I'm down to 1-2/month. Heaven.
