The scale read in the 150s this morning for the first time in a couple of years!!!  Hot dawg!

As many of you know, I'm trying to lose as much weight as I can before my spinal surgery in July. Before I saw the surgeon about two and a half weeks ago, when she told me to get off as much weight as I can before July, I had already lost about 20 pounds from my re-gain high of a little over 180.  She, of course, didn't know that.

Well, I cleaned up my diet and quit eating all the garbage that I had gotten back into (well, most of it anyway, heh heh) and lost ... two more pounds.  Thanks for nothing, body o' mine.

Gained those two pounds back, lost them again, gained them back, lost them again!  I've been popping back and forth between 162 and 160 for the entire two and a half weeks....

This morning, my trusty scale said (drum roll, please!) 158!

Now let's see what it says tomorrow....

That is really great, Dorothy! And even when it doesn't show up immediately on the scale, you KNOW you are nourishing your body better eating cleanly and that is also a good prep for your surgery. Yay for you!!!
