nothing wrong, just trying to increase fluid intake - you know, all healthy.

so - how do y'all deal with the inconvenience of having to pee all the time? cos it's annoying!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Well, I wait as long as possible, and eventually I just go pee.

Cause that's a battle with your bladder that you're just not gonna win.

yes, but "holding it" will stretch out your bladder.  and I don't like to say what might happen eventually, but let's just say

it depends.

 Hi Dorothy!

I kid, but it's a serious question.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Oh no, Pet Mom!  I was ha ha ha-ing at the previous "It DEPENDS" comment, NOT at your question!  I'm so sorry I wasn't clear.

Yes, it IS a serious question, and I totally relate, because all my life I have had to pee a LOT!  Now it is worse than ever.  A combination, I assume, of drinking like a fish and eating very few carbs.  In my imagination, I picture carbs acting like a sponge and holding on the liquids.  No sponge and the liquids go right through :-)

And now I have to run, because I have to go pee.

All I can say is it's part of my new "normal".  The blessing here is that you are keeping your system clean.  If you're peeing lots (as most of us do) then you are flushing out your system and keeping hydrated and this also great for your skin...look at the bright side???

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!

Well.. no real way to deal with the inconvenience is there? Either pee when you have to or... pee happens regardless! I just got back from a camping trip- had massive fluid retention the day we left, and needed to take a water pill.. in the woods.. camping.. Yep, just gotta do it when you gotta do it. I still needed to pound my water- even more than normal since I took lasix, plus it was pushing 90* out, so lots of walks into the woods were happening.

I hate it when I'm on the road though. I don't like stopping and using facilities at gas stations.. it's about the only time I'll stop at a Starbucks. Coffee o' the day, bathroom break. But, that just creates more need huh?

I find that I pee a lot when I am actually losing weight - so I have some nice thoughts to sweeten the inconvenience.

Seriously though - I find that it is rarely in my best interest to hold it as long as possible, so it is off to the washroom I go!
