Should I start panicking?
This happened to me at 3 years out...7 lbs over just a couple of weeks with no explanation. And it was real weight--I know this because I've been fighting it since then for 2 years! But the good news is that it wasn't a trend. I gained those 7 lbs., stabilized and have not gained any more. I DID find out that I was hypothyroid, so do get that checked out, but the weight didn't drop off once I started taking the meds. I did have my hernia repair recently and because I couldn't eat for a good month, I lost 5 lbs--and I'm hoping that with my thyroid levels now in a good range that I will keep them off.
