don't forget lip balm, sugar free lozenges in case you get a sore throat,  some anti bacterial ointment, and "wet wipes".  I bet you will be the most prepared person on the planet for this and will have stellar results. take lots of pics even if you don't want to share them.   diane

Wear your underwear inside out so the seams aren't pressing on your skin.  You might even do this with any clothing you wear around the house.

Someone gave me advice to do a bowel prep prior to surgery. I did. Since I had muscle repair I found it helpful. If you have a bm in the first couple of days it could be agony.

I didn't have much of an appetite. Have plenty of protein shakes. You should keep your protein levels really high.
