Sick with the crud and not eating.....
My beautiful little Niece shared her rotten viral cold with Auntie...yes I still adore her! I feel like I got ran over by a steam roller! I have not been able to eat anything decently protein rich for 3 days! I can't do protein shakes since I'm so lactose intolerant. Any suggestions? The only thing I can tolerate well is SF popsicles.
On a happier note...maintenance is going good. I'm holding steady @ 160lbs and take a size 8 pants, and a medium top. I just don't want to get off my game while I battle the bubonic plague here!
Thanks for any suggestions!

You'll be OK. Sleevers are as well situated to handle the crud as a non-WLS patient, so three days won't hurt you. Just the same advice everyone gets: stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, bland foods when your tummy will tolerate them.
Oh, yeah...and feel better soon!!

I wasn't feeling great either,so I browned off some lean turky in a few finely chopped onions. When all browned there really wasn't any fat left to drain, so I didn't. I then brought some campells chicken broth and brought it to a boil, then a large handul of clean spinach and steamed them for a couple of minutes. When finished,, I put a few shavings of fresh ginger in and it was ready to go. I also added a few squirts of soya sauce for taste. Yummy turky soup, it kind of they a lazy version of wedding soup.
