Thanks Deb.  Just a little over 2 years ago, I had to literally PULL myself up the 1 step to get into the house - I couldn't step up with my left leg at all.  I had to step with my right leg while using the door knob to pull myself up, then lift my left leg up.  Now I go up and down steps like a normal person.  I guess that means I might be considered normal for the first time in years!

Some people might not support my WLS decision. 
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
