It must be a real motivator to go from "I can't help you", to "I think I can help you". I am so happy for you. I hope your new surgeon truly comes through for you Dorothy.
I can understand how difficult it must be to shop for food and to cook at this point. Did you know that many grocery stores will deliver your food? Another service many grocery stores offer is ordering your groceries from their website and plugging in a pick-up time. You can just drive to the store and have the groceries loaded in your car. However, you might need someone to unload them at your house. Or maybe you have a nice neighbor than can help? I wish I lived close by, I would help you.
Maybe you can buy healthy proteins/foods that do not take much effort to prepare. Like canned chicken, and healthy soups.
I want to write more, but I need to lay down, I feel like my husbands cold has caught me, and I cannot find the sudafed.
I feel so bad for you. My sister has a super bad case of R.A. and can't hardly do a thing. She lives in a chair and takes a lot of pain meds. I know how miserable she is, and I am sure, by your description that every day is a challenge for you.

Dorothy, I'm sending you all my good wishes. You are truly motivated. It's amazing what we can accomplish with motivation. You're going to do great getting yourself healthier for surgery. How exciting to find someone that thinks they can help!
