Dinner is over. Soup was great!  I will happily eat this.  A cup is very filling.

Made the soup 'down under' (New Zealand) and I agree - it's great! Had to substitute broccoli for broccolini and spinach for bok choy. Gave some to a cpl of friends and they thought it was delicious too.

Felt so virtuous eating it - makes you wonder why so many soups are filled with butter/cream etc when fresh and healthy is so good!

I just told my husband that they are eating "his" Green chicken soup in New Zealand; he stood up very tall and said, " We are slowly conquering the world, one continent at a time".   He is so thrilled that you like it.  I really think I should post some of his other recipes, this is really fun.

Give your husband a big hug for me and please post some more recipes, or put out  a  cookbook.  I'll buy it!

I must say, that you all, have definitely inspired me to make this soup. It is my project today, along with some clean egg muffins.

OMG!! This soup is great!!! I added some asparagus and broccoli, along with a few spices. I just had my first cup and it is very filling. Full of good protein, vitamins, and fiber. Although, next time, I may need it cut in half, since it is a lot for one person. I have to freeze some.

Thanks to Elina and her husband.

I had to freeze a lot!  Instead of bok Choy and brocolirabe, I used broccoli and spinach.  The asparagus sounds yummy!

I had the brocolirabe, but also had some asparagus, spinach, and broccoli on hand, so I also used those. I'm going to have make room in my freezer.  Next time, I will cut the recipe in half.
