What would you do?
I mostly ate flaky fish, eggs, cheese, yogurt etc. I did fine bc I don't like to vomit so I only ate what I could tolerate. I even had my NP prescribe me one of those nausea patches. I did not get sea sick at all that cruise. I really wasn't hungry. Yes I was still drinking protein shakes. I packed my protein powder in my suitcase.

Now, without a doubt.
I flew to a dog show (National Specialty for my breed held in conjunction with an all-breed show) 8 weeks post-op carrying a dog under the seat and checking my 50lb suitcase, etc. I schlepped the dog, suitcase, my equipment by myself too/from car rental, hotel, show site, etc., without issue. I was in the ring 2 hours after we landed in Newark at a night-time specialty that got over at Midnight (my dog finished his championship that night), and then we were back in the ring at 8:00am the next morning . When we won the breed the last day, I changed my flights to stay for the group. My dog then placed in the group which was last; so, we stayed for pictures which had to wait until after Best in Show. We barely made the flight I had booked at the last minute even though I did the classic OJ Simpson sprint with the dog through the airport. Fortunately, I had to book us into First Class as nothing else was available, and we got through the lines quickly and had a very comfy flight home.
I packed tuna lunch kits, protein powder, etc. My hotel room had a fridge, and I picked up cheese when I arrived. My friends dragged me to Hoboken where we stood outside Carlo's Bakery for 2 hours in line (in the freezing cold, which was tough on the Florida girl), and I will say I did take a taste of the cake samples Buddy's daughter was handing out. It was a great trip.
