Scared to Death - a long story

I too track my food daily.  I use Myfitnesspal.  I go to WW once a week for the added level of accountability.  Jim like my evader. He talks about the mind/Heart/stomach connection of why we eat.  I don't buy any of their products.  Once in awhile I add up my points to see how they compare.  I like that I have to weight at least once a month to keep my free status, but I generally weigh once a week to keep me honest about where I'm at and how I'm eating.

My surgiversary is in September - 4 years!  At 2 years, I had a lot of stress enter my life.  A husband diagnosed with cancer, my father died and my mother's Alzheimer's kicked in.  It is abundantly clear that I'm a stress eater.  I also isolate.  All this being said, I did plenty of experimenting.  Carbs can slide right on through and I tested that theory repeatedly.  I'll be that poster child.  No one reading this needs to go down that road.  It simply put is dangerous.

I recently started logging again via My Fitness Pal.  It is so eye opening.  I weigh every Monday morning.  I've cut out all white carbs and even fruit for now.  I feel so much better.  The accountability is there for myself and the "friends" I have there.  That is so fundamentally important for me as I easily isolate when the going gets tough.

Best wishes on your continued WLS journey.  Each year has been completely different from the last.  And I'm in it for the long haul.  I look forward to seeing some zip line pictures!!!
