I'm right there with you.  Eating to get in enough calories without them being empty calories is going to seem like a chore.  I try to choose wisely. You're done/are doing great!  MacMadame gave me some great advice on the Exercise and Fitness Forum.  when I was first making the transition.

If you are getting boney, you need to lift weights!

Also, don't worry about still losing. Bounceback is real and even the super disciplined have it because over time we get more ghrelin and our sleeves relax. So going a bit low is no big deal.

Your calories will grow over time without you forcing it. I know this from experience because I was super worried about losing "too much" and being boney and forcing myself to eat more and now I'm sorry.

I'll tell you one thing about being boney though... I am 10 pounds over my lowest weight. And lately, beause I'm not working out and  I'm losing muscle, I'm getting boney again. Boney is not about being too thin -- it's about not having enough muscle!

Ah ha... didn't think about the boney v. muscle issue - makes a lot of sense.  *sigh*   I guess I'll have to go to the gym and work out... around.... sweaty.... muscle....men......

Perhaps I'll go tomorrow.

Now you make me wonder why I don't like to go the gym that much. LOL

Now you know why I love the gym so much!  Lots of eye candy, LOL.

I've made some good strides in the last month or so with my upper-body work. My scale weight is stable, but I'm getting visibly leaner on the bottom and more muscular on top.   Last night, out of the blue, my trainer actually said to me, "I can see where you're filling back out on top."   I kind of looked at him funny, and the 21 year old that he is blushed profusely before he stammered, "I mean your arms, and stuff. Your bony shoulders are gone."  I laughed because  'filling out' is of course an old-fashioned reference to girls devleping and it certainly doesn't apply to my peri-menopausal 32A's.

It felt good but vaguely unsettling but that's mostly my hangup, lol.  Having a 21 year old trainer is odd. I constantly check myself lest I sound like a skeezie cougar.  I work with mostly men, and I have a fairly sarcastic and  'blue' sense of humor. Having said that, they're my peers.

It just seems wrong around this person who was born AFTER I graduated from college. I'm not only old enough to be his mother, at 44, I'm old enough I could have graduated, gotten married (which I nearly did), worked for a couple of years and THEN given birth.

This getting old thing sucks, and not in a good way :)
