I have not been going to the gym like I use to. I had to see my wls today he injected my nerve it hurts from my tummy tuck it is very sore but no it is better. On April 9Th I have to have a hernia repaired this is another reason not going to the gym every day. But when I eat i never eat over 900 or 1000 calories a day.

I put down ever thing I put in my mouth. i just can not believe not working out each day makes me gain 10 lbs. I have no idea what to do. I can not work out like I want to right now due to the hernia so I guess I should just not eat lol. Just venting any advise I will take I do not want to ever gain my weight back.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Do you think maybe you are suffering from endema or something like that? How long did it take you to gain 10 pounds? I gained 5 in 3 weeks after I had to abruptly stop working out.

gained 10 lbs in one month. I did work out yesterday and this am after weighing my self 5 times moving the scale around the room it kept reading 168 I wonder if I am suffering from edema.

Do you have a digital scale? Moving the scale around a room to see if the result varies doesn't sound very accurate.

If you have edema, your fingers might be swollen, legs and ankles would also be swollen. Do your rings fit the same? If so, then if may not be edema. Water retention usually comes on fairly suddenly, such as, after a high sodium meal. Are you tracking your sodium intake? Is it above 2300 grams/day?

Are you tracking your food intake every day, including weighing and measuring your food?

"I have not been going to the gym."

This may be why you have gained 10 lbs in one month. Lack of exercise will cause your weight to increase.

If you can't exercise as intensely, can you walk?

was your injection cortisone? that will make you gain weight for sure. bet its a temporary set back and when you get over your repairs and such you will adjust.   Meanwhile, try not to sweat. You know you are eating right.    Diane
