I'm right there with you fighting those last few... really having to work hard and drop calories & carbs & sodium while upping fluids & exercise.  We can do this!

That sounds good to me! I'm planning on keeping on till things either a. start looking too small/weird or b. my BF% drops to a level below what I'm comfy at.. (doubt that will happen, but you never know!!)

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with how things have progressed just by doing what I've been these last months. I'm a happy carnivore (with a slight pickle addiction.. oh, and caffeine.)

seems like your goal weight pops up one day when you least expect it. I lost slowly in the middle phase and faster at the end. most people lose slow at the end. if you are close to goal and still losing a pound a week, thats pretty good and just hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. be sure to post when that big day comes.  Diane

Averages to a lb a week +/-, but in reality it's drop a lot fast for 10 days, bounce up two, hold, repeat.. I stick to the same macros the entire time.. it's just my weird pattern now I guess :)

Before my surgery, my surgeon asked me what my lowest adult weight had been....I was 54 at the time of surgery.  I had to admit that the lowest I could remember weighing in my mid 20's was 165.  At 5'3" that still put me at overweight.  He told me that my MOST LOGICAL  goal for weight loss would be about 5 to 10 pounds over that weight.

I am still struggleing to get there.  I figure that it was 30 years ago; and I was more active, had less medical issues, and more energy then....and much much less arthritis....

I havent' given up the fight, but realize that 175 would be a really good place for me to be....

The past few months have been tough for me.  I've been physically sick, been on steroids for the better part of 2 months, had some big issues going on at home and work......major life stuff.  Gained a couple pounds in there somewhere....with the lack of exercise from the bronchitis, and steroids to heal my lungs....but I"m back on 5 day a week work outs, weekend gardening, and healthy eating....

Those gained pounds are hell to take back off, and those last few are stubborn, but I figure losing 30 year old fat wasn't going to be easy.....

Hanging in there.....

Steroids stink. I had a short round a while back, and I hated them even for that.
Fat is stubborn, but I may be more stubborn..? Maybe. I have no deadline, so this is for the long-haul.

I lost 100 lbs and then it stopped. now for three months I have been yo-yoing up and dowm between 172 and 179

I lost the wieght without lifting a finger then the honeymoon was over. So now I have to workout, eat better, workout and eat better, I feel like im on a damn diet its extremely annoying but I am determined to reach my goal.... 30 pounds to go

We can do it! I know I need to up the excersise myself, I def have room for improvement there... Have you had a body composition test done? It may help keep you from tearing your hair out.. just in case you really don't have 30 extra to go.

wow, we're all living the same thing.
The weight came off so easily for me the first 130 lbs!  I followed the rules carefully, though.  But the past couple of months, it's slowed to a CRAWL.  Although I'd like to lose a little more, I am overall pretty happy with what I've done.  So if it keeps crawling, that's okay, too :)
