OT - A blooming miracle
Shortly after moving to the pacific northwest nearly 10 years ago, I planted a pink camillia in my backyard. I was fascinated with all these exotic plants that grow here that I could not have in the midwest.
Well that dang camillia never bloomed - it grew and looked ok but never any blooms.
...until today when I looked out and saw a pink flower. At first I thought it was some other plant but lo and behold its covered with blooms and buds.
And I was about to dig it up and toss it. Just goes to show you that some things are worth waiting for.

We had a similar story with some flowers (forget what kind) my Mom planted near our front door. After 3 or 4 years of not blooming, one spring my Dad looked at 'em and told Mom, "If they don't bloom this year, we're taking them out." They did.
