I just wanted to say hi to everyone, I'm new to this group. I'm not in maintenance yet, 15 pounds to goal, then who knows, a few more. I have been on the main board but having a hard time relating to all of the newbies, I'm just not at that point any longer. As of today I'm officially down 100 lbs. I have been very strict lately and logging everything on my fitness pal, it has really helped. OH has really helped too and I feel like I personally know many of you, so thanks! I'm also starting to plan some plastic surgery so have been over there too. Happy to join you all!

Congratulations on your weight loss success,
I identify with not being able to get into all the newbie posts any longer. Love this group. I don't get onto the site as often as I used to, and the other board gets so much traffic, that you hardly get to know anyone if not on constantly.
Congratulations again on joining the Century club. 100 lb is alot to lose. I thought about trying to get there, but that would put me about 4-5 lb lower than I want to go, so will try and stay at 96 lb lost, thanks to my sleeve.

Wishing you all the best, Carol
count your blessings!!!!   At goal weight.   I am 5 ft 3.

Welcome to the maintenance group. I also found the same thing happening, the closer that I came to goal, the main VSG board wasn't as helpful or supportive as it was in the beginning. I think that the further along that we get, our needs change and we need different support. This board has vets that are further out and their tips, suggestions, and support are vital for reaching and maintaining your goal.

Congratulations on hitting the 100 lb mark!  It is quite an accomplishment and I hope that you feel proud of yourself.

I am also in the process of thinking about and planning for plastic surgery. I seem to be dragging my feet due to the seriousness of the surgery, recovery time, and potential for complications. And that isn't even considering the cost factor. Maybe, I'll see you over on the plastics forum.

Congrats! I am pretty new here too. I find tracking on myfitnesspal, the good, bad & the ugly, really helps. I also go to Weigh****chers meetings to help keep me focused (I also track my points too).

Thanks everyone! I have been tracking on my fitness pal and it has really helped me get closer to goal. Trying to stick to the low carb, although it seems one day a week I need a higher carb day, then I'm good to go again.

Congratulations! As time goes on, needs change.  But what I've learned the hard way, is that support is crucial for me.  It is so easy for me to isolate when things aren't going well and then it becomes a downward spiral.  Good luck on your journey!
