Hey Mikey
Congrats to you and your sleeve on being two years old!!  You have been an outstanding example to us all and you may never know how many people you have helped with your posts. You look great and one would never believe that you had ever been overweight if we didn't have the photo evidence. So glad you did the plastics - benefits of that and the wls will last the rest of your life.

we all have the body image issue . it helps to look at yourself in three way mirrors and move around while you are doing it so you can see the results are REAL!!    We should all talk more about this in this group and figure out how to get beyond it.

As to fear of failure well a bit of this may be healthy to keep us all on the right path but remind yourself of how much you have accomplished already and how few people have advanced so much and you will realize that you have it in you to succeed in the long run. Five years from now you are gonna be posting about your 7 year aniversary and wearing that same tux!!!  I find it helps to set six month goals to be in a certain weight range after six months and then set another 6 month goal.

Anyway, you done good and its awesome to see the results. Check in when you can.

Diane

What an inspiration you are! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Congrats on your 2 year surgiversary (mine won't be until Oct. this year) so I have a way to go, but it has been quite the journey and for the first time in my life I have hope that I might be able to keep the weight off for the long haul.

Cheers, and thanks again for 'giving back' to us!

Mikey you are so handsome and thank you for sharing your story with us! You were one of the first people I watched on this board pre-op and I continue to keep my eye on your progress with your PS.

Mikey you have always been an inspiration to many of us here.  I don't think you are too thin.  You are very handsome.  Keep up the hard work to keep it off.  Like you, my life has changed so much and I don't ever want to go back to where I was.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Happy 2nd Surgiversary!  You are an inspiration!  Thanks for continuing to share your journey.

Seeing the picture of you in the Tux, you remind me of the actor Dule Hill.  Very Handsome!
