You are the man Mikey!!  So inspirational and you just look like a different person!  I hope you feel great....because you look it!  I am so glad that plastics have made you feel even better...it did that for me too!  IT just helps us complete our journey doesn't it??

Mikey, you are a handsome man and have been such an inspiration to all of us.

I know what you mean about getting one's life back and being able to participate in new and old activities. I also agree that there is no going backwards. It is unacceptable.

The body dysmorphia can take some time to improve. The dietitian in the support group that I attend said that it can about 3 years for the head to catch up, but I can definitely see where it would take longer.

Congratulations on working your sleeve, getting your life back, and having a second chance at a healthier  and active lifestyle.

Best of everything during year 3.

I agree it is wonderful to be able to walk again and do activities that I haven't been able to do in years.
