Honey, I shrunk....

Well, I'm on the 'ologist-go-round right now after my endocrinologist punted me off to a rheumatologist (next stop dermatologist).  Good news, rheumatologist thinks the Endo needs to do his job and medicate me properly. There's nothing to suggest I have anything beyond the existing autoimmune issues I've had for the last 18 years. They 're running a battery of tests just in case, but he's pretty sure I just have Graves, Graves Eye Disease, and Graves Dermopathy (as if that's not enough).  He also thinks DEXA scan is a good idea and go get a mammogram which I haven't yet had (at 44, yes, I'm bad, i know).  Bad news, they measured me and rather than the 5' 3" I've claimed for much of my adult life without having been measured since high shool, I am 5'2 1/4"

DAMMIT! Now I have to redo ALL my BMI, body fat calcs, etc, and I need to revise my goal.  *sigh*.  Instead of 6lbs to go, I now have 9lbs.

Aside all of your health issues(hope all turns out well),you are too funny!  I'm 5'3" too, and I had shrunk at my heaviest, but got the height back after losing.  I guess I'm standing taller??

6 lb or 9, you have done great and should consider yourself a success, even if you never lose another pound!
