Under the knife again?
Ha! You're right, of course, Frisco. I just wish Dr. C could have said, "Hey, no problem, I can take care of it," instead of "I likely can't fix it entirely...there's a good chance it will improve but there's a small chance it will be worse" referring to the potential swallowing problem caused by this twist he wants to put in. Dr. Jossart already tried to fix this hernia once, so it's not as large as it was originally, but without this more aggressive twist fix, it will likely continue to recur.
And I do find it interesting that he finds my sleeve more dilated than he likes, considering that I feel like I still have very good restriction. I forgot to ask him WHY it dilated since I've always been extremely careful, and it may just be that it was done differently back then and he wants to upgrade me to the new and improved model!
Anyway, assuming he can get my insurance to give the go ahead, I'm going to do it...
I appreciated the input! It really does help to have everyone encourage me.
