You'll be there before you know it.  This is going to sound strange, but enjoy the anticipation.  Sometimes working toward the goal is the very best part of the journey.

Pressure!!!

I don't know... my weight loss has started to s l o w so much.  We'll see.  I'm trying though... and it's the 17th already, and February is a short month!

The thing is.... 160 is Cirangle's goal.  He asked what I wanted for a goal - I said 155.  He said "that might be too much" (when was five pounds ever a big deal before?)  Ah ha, but, if I get to 155, then I can claim to literally be half the man I was, since my max weight was 310.....

And no matter how much weight I lose, I still have "fat belly" because of this extra skin and subcutaenous fat atttached to it.  Plastics, plastics, plastics.....

Well you will get to goal when you get there. And the anticipation is fun. Then the real project begins - keeping that way.

I too have a roll of belly fat which is really just skin according to dr. C. If I were younger I would get it chopped but at my age what I really need is a face lift. Might do that.

We had a little "half yourself" club going awhile back for those of us (me included) who lost half our body weight. We decided it also applied if you cut your pants size in half. Biased in favor of women due to how they are sized.

Yeah, start saving for the plastics. I think hubby is eventually going to need that.    Diane

Thanks Diane for your encouraging words.  You rock.

I'm definitely having this skin hacked off - already started saving.  Hoping for plastics in the late summer / early fall, depending on my work schedule.

Think I might target 155 unofficially and then swing between 155 and 160 for maintainence.  It's just hard for me to look in the mirror and see "what's normal" with this belly skin'fat.  If I go by my belly, I'll be dieting until all fat elsewhere is gone x.x

Still thinking about how to celebreate my goal in 4.8 pounds!!!!

I know what you mean by anticipation. I just reached goal, and I was 0.2# from it for two weeks in a row!!! Now I'm below goal by almost 3#, but those two weeks drove me nuts!

Good luck!
