OMG!!!! I know I am not getting 70-80 grams of protien.  The dietitian at the doctors office refuses to call me back so I am just winging it.  I have know idea what I am doing an if I am doing it right.  The only time I spoke with the dietitian was the week before my surgery.  I am going to find me a new bariatric dietitian and go from there.  I am going to start incorporating more protien tomorrow and I am going to track what I eat!  Thanks loveofcats!

I recently found a bag of hummus chips at the store. I don't remember the brand, but they were low carb and had decent protein for a snack chip. They were very good! I ate a few of them (6 or 7) dipped in cottage cheese.

My snacking is still what is has been since about the 2nd month: Beef jerky or turkey jerky, KIND bars, an occasional protein bar, green smoothies, edamame, hummus, cashews, cheese. I still enjoy my parmesan cheese crisps in the microwave... that probably accounts for 1/2 my caloric intake in a week!! LOL

I'd say that if you up your protein and maybe try logging your foods so you know what you're taking in, you should be right back on track! Good luck!!

I have to snack as I still can't get enough in to fill me over until my next "meal".  Packing/planning ahead is key for me at least.  My hubby actually makes fun of me, because of all the different types of  food I pack for the day.

My snack usually consist of some of the same things others have mentioned (trying to stay with protein and veggies)...string cheese, veggies, etc.  Some of the other things I really love are turkey pepperoni minis (love these), cottage cheese with a little tomato, beef jerky, diced or canned chicken breast, veggies with dip (unflavored high protein greek yogurt with lowfat dry ranch dip mix).
I typically pack way more than I can eat, but I love having the variety and choice.  This may be just me, but sometimes I open up my sack and just really don't feel like eating what I packed the day before...so that gives me options and keeps me from choosing other options  :)

I love Turkey Perky Jerky, available at 7-11's in my area.  It is a much more moist and natural tasting jerky, with lots of protein, no fat, and reasonable sodium.  I only recently learned that it has caffeine in it, though.
