Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday, 01/19

Maintaining Cindy
on 1/18/12 2:01 pm, edited 1/18/12 8:14 pm
Surgery Date - June 12, 2009
Surgery Weight - 230 lbs
Goal Weight - 155 lbs
Preferred Range - 135 - 139 lbs
Today's Weight - 132.8 lbs

Oh my, it must be that time of the month again where I lose without trying. I will immediately up my cals... I think I still look fantastic and not too thin, I am also cautious because I have heard of so many that got back into some bad habits when they tried to either stop the weight loss or gain some weight.

If for a short time I am underweight so bit it. I will get a handle on this by making healthy changes slowly... I am not going to overreact at this point. It took me over 40 years to break my addiction to sweets and junk food, and I am going to be VERY careful not to use anything I LOVE to get this under control...

147.5.

But I think it's artificially low because I'm feeling awful and hardly ate yesterday and only took in 64-80 of my normal 128oz+ of water.

I'm sure it will rebound once I'm on the mend.

HW: 280; SW: 255; GW1: 150; CW: 155.

Sounds like a good plan, Sweetie.

Nuts, avocado, an extra protein drink are healthy ways to add calories.

110.2  lbs    Up 1.5 lbs from yesterday.

I really slipped yesterday. Lots of carbs. I haven't done that much damage since I had surgery. Back onto plan and exercise today. Not sure why, I ate what I did yesterday. Have to think about it.

Cindy you are doing great. Don't worry too much about dropping a little low. so many things can cause these variations and the further out we get , the more of these there seems to be. My surgeon says to eat a little more in the way of complex carbohydrates to regain a few pound. I think its best to eat nuts, avocado, some cheese or fruit or 1% milk and do it slow. i am convinced that the number we see each moring is the product of several days behavior and not just the day before . GL and way to go.    Diane
