I have lost all my weight I was wanting to, and now I weigh 122, I was wanting to be 135 so I lost a little more then I wanted to, I have never counted calories, or weighed any food, I just eat till I'm full which is very little and I eat pretty healthy, well since I have been wanting to gain a little weight back I have started eating more non diet food like potatoes, not sugar free pop sickles, just like what ever I feel like, I do still drink my protein drink every morning.
Well the thing is, it seems like I can eat what ever I want and not gain no weight!!!!
I am NOT complaining at all I just cant believe it!!!! I used to hate people who could eat what ever and not gain weight and now I'm one of those people!!! woot woot!!
What the heck is going on???
Can I just say I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone else noticed this?

yeahhhh its all fun and dandy for a little while... but if you keep it up you will gain weight again and then it wont be so easy to loose it back... ive been "kinda" trying to loose weight again ( i could certainly be trying harder..)  and it hasnt been that easy now... so just be careful

I believe you are still in your honeymoon period - I was for a couple years, too. the further out you get, the more like a non-op you get IMO.

so, enjoy, but be mindful of what and how you eat.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

 size 8, life is great

I'm experiencing the same thing right now and I DO NOT want to lose anymore weight.  I haven't actually tried to gain but I'm trying really hard to stop losing but it seems like no matter what I eat I continue to lose.  As of yesterday I was 11 pounds under my goal.  Before I had my surgery I was so afraid that I wasn't going to lose the weight and this wouldn't work for me.  I never imagined my problem would be losing more than I wanted to lose!

yep, happened to me, too. It was like my body got into this awesome mode....

I've been eating poorly for about 2 months now and trust me, the weight will come right back on, not a problem...still in shock. Trying not to get too bummed, but it sucks.

Being a size 2 was a dream come true. I hope I can get back when I get to buckling down again.

Ug...

It is my experience that what you are describing happens to some people, in most cases, this does not last, and eventually, if you are not careful you will start to gain weight back.  This seems to happen in the 2-3 year range.  Good luck, and keep track of your weight.

Lisa,

Hate to bust that bubble girl, but everyone else is right, I got away with eating cookies and cakes, as much as I wanted for a good 9 months, but then I did gain and it was rapid and now I have to "relose" it, and it is taking forever, even though I am strictly monitoring my food. Sorry for the tough love, but I wish someone would have told me to get off my high horse when I was bragging to the world that carbs dont affect me and I could eat whatever I want
