Sugery in May- and haven' lost since Sept  :(

feb 2011-----235

Surgery May---205

Sept 2011-----164

Jan 2012----at 163.5

I have tried going down to 800 calories and I have tried staying up at 1200 calories..I tried zigzagging........I log all my food I eat..........I try to never go over 60 carbs a day but try to 60 grams of protein---Today I had 61 carbs and 78 grams of protein.......

I only drink water......or crystal light sometimes  trying to 64 oz sometimes I get 50-60---and seems like I am always saying no to everything that is offered to me anymore......

One issue I had was it seems like I don't have much restriction at all- if I wanted I could eat much more......I talked to the pa about it and she said " Don't overeat" so I talked to the Nut and she said I am doing fine with my weight loss so don't worr y about it.....this was in Nov when I saw her and last time before I was there was aug so I had lost another 10lbs or whatever so it looked like I was still doing fine........

I actually lost 30 from Feb to May on my OWN  and now only 40 from May 2011  to Jan 2012....so I feel like I could have lost the other 40lbs with or without the surgery because of all my eating habits I changed, and that I quit drinking 4/5 colas a day and replaced that with water..........

For a while I thought I was just stalled but now I feel like I might just stay this weight....I will be 161, then 163.4 then 162 and 160 and back and forth like that for months now....

Just curious if anyone else was stalled like this for months and then started losing again.....Or what changed?? Or any tips?

How much are you exercising? What are your recent thyroid levels?

try upping your protein to the min of 70 a day .. more maybe even better. and usually when i stall like that if i look back, i find that i have added things back in like too much cheese, or salty meats or something that is causing it..

and the other thing i always try to do is drink at least 100 ounces of fluids and more that helps too. if im not getting enough i dont tend to lose..

Thyroid was normal- all blood work was ok besides Cholesterol was Low----

I haven't been exercising too much--- i know that's something I need to work on-

I did 46 carbs yesterday and 94 protein-------Working on it--I been eating alot of eggs....I love them and thats how I get some of my protein ...I usually have a piece of cheese on there..and tonight I had a piece of string cheese for a snack but I don't eat too much cheese I dont think.....

for the first year i barely ate... never consumed more than 800-900 cals a day... and I worked out TONS after 6 months out.. i found a group fitness class i liked and stuck to it.. worked out an hour about 4 times a week (like a serious group class with lots of cardio/spinning and some fast pace tonning).. i know working out isnt the funnest activity in the world but It really helped me out a lot and the weight just melted off... litterally (i dont have loose skin for them most part) just give it a try.. hope this helps

Up the exercise, including intensity to 5-6 days/week. That always helped me to lose.
