yep I am so proud that he made this decision. Once he decides, he usually proceeds full tilt.  Between the two of us we have lost 200 lbs!    There used to be this place in the hallway floor that always squeaked when he walked on it. Not anymore.   an NSV - no more squeaky floor.  Diane

I *love* hearing this update!!!

My hubby is sleeved also (and thankfully hasn't outpaced me on weight lost yet, but he has slightly less to lose than I did) he looks fantastic, is off all BP meds and we both continue to look 10 years younger. He also isn't into the boards and doesn't need as much support as I seem to. For me it's an accountability thing, for him he is happy to get his support from me.

SO glad that he is in the twoterville range...WAY TO GO!!!!
-8lbs lost during the 6 month insurance hoop jumping,
the rest is since surgery.

Way to go to your DH Shrinking Nerd!!  I'll bet  you are enjoying watching him melt away.  I sure wish my DH would consider getting sleeved.  I worry so much about his health, but he's not interested, because "he's not that big".

Well, he may not weigh 300, but at 270 he's way too heavy and is very short of breath with little exertion.  And we already know that he has 60% arterial blockage.

Walking time bomb.

Count your blessings, Diane that your DH took the leap and did it!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
