Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday, 01/05
Hi Birdie,
Food tracking and weighing food portions are vital components of successful weight loss and maintenance, in addition, to aerobic exercise and weight training. I'm sure your surgeon has a recommended post-op nutrition program to follow that will also help.
Food tracking, weighing my portions, and staying away from simple carbs have really helped me to maintain my weight. You can do this!!!

I am feeling a better each day. That was one of the most painful things I have been through. He had such a BIG presense in our lives, I miss him so much. It was so unexpected...
However, I am thankful for the 10.5 years we had and ever so thankful I still have Sadi to cuddle and shower with love.
Thanks my sweet friend,
Cindy

Thank you my dear!
Also, thank you for your kind words yesterday. I don't how much of a rock I am, but I consistently log my food, weigh and measure my portions, stay within a specific caloric range, attend online and face to face support groups, and exercise 5-6 days/week. I think doing these things have really helped me to maintain my weight since mid-April. I go up and down a couple of pounds, but this is normal. I am down about a pound, but I have eliminated some problematic foods, which have helped the weight to drop a bit. Another pound or two wouldn't hurt me, but I'm not stressing over it. I am only 4'11" so this weight is good for me.
