Ug...gaining
So, it's been over two years now and overall have had amazing success both losing and keeping it off. I stayed in the 122-125 range for a LONG time. Holding pretty much steady as a rock. It was unreal....great, frankly.
Then in the past month a lot changed for me. I have ballooned (yes,I use that term loosely, but y'all know what I mean) up to 129.
I got a new job, re-located, completely changed my routine and my fall back? EAT. Yup, my good friend - food - was there to comfort me through it and in about 5 weeks I have managed to gain 6 pounds. No small feat! Thats some serious carbs, sugar, etc...just stuffing my face (which, has changed too, it amazing but I really do look different)...
Anyhow, I know what's going on. I also know it has to stop. I am so p*ssed at myself but know that attitude won't help anything, so I am going to dust myself off and just declare an end to the gain. Make that goal #1. Then, Ill get to getting it off...First, I just need to stop the gain.
Anyhow, happy new year, all. I'll post more soon and let you know how I manage through it...
Keep up the good fight - I'm still hanging my hat on getting as far as I did...still blessed to be a size 4-6 and not 22. Don't miss that one bit and NOT going back.
Best.

Oh yeah, seems to be a trend around here. But the good news is, we know we can lose it and we will!
Today is day 1 and so far so good. I've had to distract myself a couple of times because the M & Ms were calling to me. ***** carbs. :(
I've done cardio today, taken down all the Christmas decorations (8 totes full) and am ready to head outside to take down the outdoor stuff. So, I'm keeping busy. Tomorrow at work will be a challenge. I do better at home. I think the routine at work makes me want to eat at certain times. So I've stocked up on SF gum and when I get the urge to chew on something, it's going to be gum!
Let's do this together!

I know you don't feel great about the 6 lbs of regain, but give yourself some credit for seeing it when it is only 6 lbs.
I'm only 13 months out, but I've seen a few threads from successful vets who creep up a few pounds here or there and then catch it and get it off again. I would venture to guess that most naturally thin people participate in a similar process.
6 lbs will much easier to deal with than 15-20-30, etc. So, good on you for catching this early.
You are NOT going back! You know what to do. Keep us posted! I'll be particularly interested as I'm about to start a new job and relocate as well!
