Hi Cindy,
I think our weight does fluctuate on a day to day basis and taking one day/week for a weekly weight, is more helpful, so that we look at trends. That said, your weight is dropping rapidly, and you probably need to continue to add in the healthy snacks, until the dropping stops. Look at your weight from one week ago, how much further down are you? You are also losing muscle mass at this point in time, since your body fat must be pretty low. I wouldn't stop the walking completely, because that will help to keep your metabolism going, help to preserve muscle mass, and help your mood. I hope that you are keeping your protein up.

Thanks for your feedback. I am eating my usual meals every day since Tiki died. But I was not doing it for pleasure, so I never at any snacks. I also continued to walk each day.
I am just a couple of pounds from being Underweight, so yesterday I knew I could not keep doing what I was doing. So I intentionally added in a banana and some raisins as snacks and I did not go for a walk... in spite of that I still lost.
I NEED my walks for so many reasons, as you mentioned, so I have and want to continue my walks. I will try to increase my snacks further. I have no appetite as you can imagine.
I lose in stages and I must be VERY close to the end of this losing stage, I should look back and see when this one started and how much I have lost over the last week or two... I will do that when I have a bit of time...
I am trying to do my best and it will get easier and easier, I am functioning much better yesterday and today, and each day I know I will be able to get better.
I will do what it takes to not drop below the normal BMI range, but if I do, I can't worry about it right now. I will get control of this and get my weight right where I want it. It is not top priority right now. My health is and my little family is... the weight will have to wait :)
Oh and my long term plan is to build a nice layer of muscle on my long lean body... but that has to wait for now also.

Rid of the excess sodium and solid waste. I also eliminated a couple of foods that were starting to become problematic. Since I have been off work this week, I increased my exercise, which has helped to burn off some of the excess calories that I ate, but overall, my weight did pretty well over the holidays. This is certainly a learning process and journey.

121.5. so glad the creeping up stopped today.
Cindy if I were you I would just eat a little more of the healthy stuff like nuts and such. But keep walking. its good for you for so many reasons besides weight. awhile back I thought i was getting too thin and was worried. doc said don't worry. a couple of pounds have crept back. your body will stablilize. the extra fruit is a good thing.
