I had my body work done  on December 9th.

Lower body lift, min butt augmentation, long thigh lift, arm lift, breast lift and reduction.  Surgery went great. The surgery was 13 hours done with epidural and twighlight sleep.  I came to at 11 pm and staed up all nigh****ching tv and chatting on Skype. The next day I walked around and stayed awake until 7pm so that I'd be on a sleep cycle.   On sunday the 11th I spent the day walking and relaxing.

Monday I was taken back to the OR for a neck lift, lower face lift and both eyelids. It was done under local so could hear them talking during the last hour of the six hour surgery.  I was awake when it was over.  I spent Tuesday resting in the clinic.  On Thursday I was moved to a hotel.

Friday and Saturday it was out to lunch followed by a movie out.  I can easily dress myself, bend over to pick things up etc.

Nurse
Patty comes for two hours to help me shower and wash my hair, then dresses my incisions and puts me back into my compression garments.

I love Dr. Sauceda. He comes to the hotel daily to check on me. I don't have much appetite but I try to get my protein in.  On Wednesday I fly back to San Francisco. I'm really lucky that a good friend came with meM

Wow!  I'm sure happy that you got along alright.  That's a lot of hours under the knife!  I would be too chicken to do it!   Just knowing what I went through with my arms,  I'm shocked that you are able to even move around. LOL

Pictures please!!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

I actually can't believe how easy it was.  The face is thw worst of it.

I kept a visual of your arms going into surgery, playing that mine might look that good!

How bruised is your face? It seems like it would be quite noticeable for awhile.

I am so glad that you are doing so well. I would be too scared to have so much done at one time, but where there is a will, there is always a way.

Gail, the face is the worst of it.  Kind of yellow all over with a bruise on each side of my neck. Tomorrow the stitches come out of my eyes.

When I had my consult back in May, the PS said that it takes about two weeks for the bruising to go away. He showed me some photos of someone, who had taken photos each day after her face lift. It was amazing and interesting. After two weeks, very little trace of bruising.

Oh I definitely want mine done all at once! I don't want to have to deal with taking time off work and healing up more than once.

I know what you mean. I've been thinking more about it, but I would have to go out of the country to have everything done at once. The PS here will combine a couple of procedures at one time, but the face is always a separate procedure.

I also have A-fib, so I was thinking that having everything done at one time would be too much physical stress, but otoh, anesthesia is very, very stressful on the body.

I'm not 100% sure I'll do my face. Heck, at the rate I'm going financially, I probably won't do anything! LOL

But I can dream...
