Wow, what a difference. The scarring is scary but I know it will just keep fading over time. 6 weeks has made a tremendous difference I can only imagine 1, 2 or 10 years how much that scar will fade.

Can I ask how much weight in skin was removed?
-8lbs lost during the 6 month insurance hoop jumping,
the rest is since surgery.

I was not happy with only how much skin was removed lol. It was only 6 lbs of skin. But he also removed all the fat under the skin he said and he did not tell me how much that weighted.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Thank you for posting.  The finished product is wonderful.  I'll have to admit, that first picture scares the **** out of me though.  I know that I'm going to have to do this eventually and that really looks like it hurts...As I've heard before, plastic surgery is NOT for sissys!  Congrats on your success!

deb the first 5 days hurt like hell. But after that it is so much better. I am so happy now 6 weeks later that I did this. You will do great and love it.

Valerie.  Thanks so much for this.  It is exactly what I needed to see.  I go in for my extended tummy tuck and my arms on Monday.  I'm a nervous wreak.

Any advice for me?

Make sure you have help for the first 5 days getting in and out of bed even to sit up in bed you need someone to help you. My doc did not want me in a chair he wanted me stretched out in the bed so my muscles would not get tight on me it worked out great for me. I do not know what your doc said about sleeping.

Use you binders 24/7 it helps so much with swelling. I have no idea about the arms I want mine done next. Best of luck you will do great. keep me posted please.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
