What are you most thankful for? Besides being thinner

Let's take a poll and see what we are most thankful for, besides having surgery.  So, I will start:
I am thankful for living in a free country where I can say and do anything I want (within reason) and not fear being persecuted.  I am thankful for my dear, sweet husband who has loved me through thick and thin and has always had the patience to put up with my crap. I am thankful for my amazingly smart, talented and beautiful kids.  I am thankful we have a nice, warm home to come home to and to share our time with each other.  I have many more but I will leave it at that.

So, what are you thankful for?

not Long after surgery my husband retired from the Navy, and was unemployed for about 9 months, so i am thankful that he got a job as a VA Police officer, We might be still suffering from the aftermath and stil not living in our home in CA, and will prob spend the next few years trying to play catch up on bills that were unable to be paid... but im thankful that  at least we have a job .. I feel so bad, for the so many that do not...

My hubby... my sweet sweet hubby...  I love him like no other, like I never thought possible.  He has brought such happiness and stability to my life.  He has loved me through a very difficult time.  We are closer than ever and for that I am for ever thankful.

I love you Barry...

I am thankful for all you vets that share your time so generously, and speak your truth about food, surgery, weight loss, head hunger, and recovery from the disease of obesity.  No one is more helpful than some who's been there.  Thank you so much!!

I am thankful for opportunity to participate in life, rather than be a spectator.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

I am most thankful for the new "attitude" my sleeve has given me!  The few years before my surgery, I had alot of family crap going on...long story but it was awful and I was really in emotional hell!  I needed to do something for me to feel better....and I knew that I needed to start taking care of myself.  Feeling bad and then eating bad is a bad cycle!  The sleeve has given me a new life...it has helped me heal from my family (I don't know if you ever completely heal) and I feel so much better about myself...and it shows!  I feel like the sleeve gave me my life back!...and my husband too!  My marriage is also so much better....  the vsg is life changing and for that, I am SO VERY THANKFUL!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here...I am also thankful for all the support and info this OH has provided me!

I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who has supported me through everything with my journey. My two beautiful children and my parents, who we just spent Thanksgiving with. Most importantly, I'm so very thankful for my health, as my father was diagnosed with lung cancer this year and is now in remission. My eldest brother was also disgnoised with cancer of the.esophagus six months ago, stage 3, and is now in the fight for his life. We all tend to take some things for granted. My health and my family are blessings I will be so greatful for, for the rest.of my days.
