Great news! Glad to hear all went well with the surgery and that he is already doing so well.

Wow, 44 lbs lost pre-op? That is fantastic! I know he will be so happy to have that jump start!

Some people might not support my WLS decision. 
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

 Glad to here it all went well.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Update to all - we are now home safe and sound. The night at the hotel was fine and the drive back uneventful. Hubby handled it well and is back to his old self (minus most of stomach). He is doing very well getting protein in (he actually likes the drinks) and following doctors orders. Thanks to all of you who came to wish him success. We made it home in time to get the dogs out of the kennel.

So all is well and the journey is launched for Shrinking Nerd.     Diane
