Shrinking Nerd is sleeved and doing fine

Hubby got sleeved today and is doing just fine. NO issues or problems. Took a long time but they got started late. He has been up and walked and had some protein drink and jello. I am back at hotel after getting to hospital at 5:30 am. Now I am drinking wine and finally relaxing.

Surgeon said he did a great job of shrinking his liver down by losing 44 lbs pre op. Left him there napping as I know they are going to make him get up a bunch more times. He had some nausea and gas pain (something I was spared) but it has improved.

Diane, if you get this before 1:00 PM, please call me.  I have tried your cell but you are not answering.  I would like to know how Michael is doing this morning.  I hope the nausea and the gas pain has receded.  If I can't get a hold of you, I will see you at the meeting tonight.
