If  Brandilynn were here she would be telling you to veer back towards the middle of the road!

So you went on vacation...you enjoyed yourself...no need to hang your head in shame, just gently, kindly, steer yourself away from the snickers!

Everytime I feel the shame and Oh I ****** up and here we go again voices in my head flair up I just hear Brandilynns wise words echo in my ear..so I shall repeat them to your dear Wanda...and please tell us something good about your trip that you are grateful for and will remember and cherish..and it cannot be food/shame related! My game; my rules....

LOL Lizbet!  Where IS Brandilynn anyway?  I've been AWOL myself for awhile so missed something?

Ok, the trip was great.  I will remember celebrating our 41st anniversary on Halloween (yes, we got married on Halloween) in Vegas.  I will remember that I was able to walk up and down the strip easily.  I will remember the trails I walked in the various national parks that I would NEVER have attempted prior to WLS.  I remember climbing to the top of a sand dune in White Sands National Monument and making a "sand" angel.  I would never have done that prior to WLS either, because I know I would never have been able to get back up.   I remember feeling energized during all of my trail walks and so proud of myself!

Well, turns out you are right!  Need to re-look at the great things about our trip and not focus on the 3 pound gain.  I know it will come off.  I'm just a freak.  lol

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

We are all freaks! Just that freaking out can just lead to more freaking out..aka mini snicker bars!

Your trip sounds delightful! A Sand Angle...how coo!!!

As for Brandilynn...I have played some phone tag with her...she is very busy with work at the moment..

You will LEAN out those 3 pounds...(another Brandilynn way to think of it)

Just stay in the middle of the road...you will be fine...more then fine..you are GREAT!
