Is this pretty low? (Vitamin D labs)

I had my one year labs back today and noticed that the Vitamin D is low, but not out of my docs range.  I was reading that we need our Vitamin D3 to be around 80 to feel good.  I'm a bit confused, and am wondering what I should do.  I have D dots, but have never seen D2 vitamins.

Here are my labs:

Vitamin D3- 35
Vitamin D2- 3

Could this be the reason I am exhausted all the time for no good reason? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I don't think you need to worry about the D2. On my labs, mine is

Thanks Liz, your post was cut off.  I didn't get to see your numbers.

By the way, I got my plastics referral.  I am now ready for that breast reduction surgery.  Thanks for all your help on that!

I got one angle bracket in but the second one caused the message to get chopped off... thus proving my point that it's OH's fault. LOL

Trish, I don't how much you are supplementing with D3, but the program that I'm in, recommends about 4,000 IU of D3/day. This counts the D 3 found in your calcium citrate supplements, multivitamin, and separate D3 supplement. Dose can be adjusted according to your lab values. 80-100 would most likely be a good range. The D3 supplementation is controversial, but most providers are recommending some type of supplement, but it needs to be D3, which is better utilized by the body.

Here is a great article about Vitamin D:

Wow Gail, that is a fantastic article.  I'm going back to read it some more after I type this and post what I PM'd to Liz.  One thing the article mentioned was depression.  I've been down in the dumps for awhile, and I am NOT the type of person who gets that way.  Plus, I am tired all the time and unmotivated (side affect of depression).  I am hoping that if I can get these numbers up, I'll feel better.  I would have liked to lay out in the sun for awhile today, but it's raining.....a very rare thing in Texas and I am grateful for it!  So, I'll have to wait for a sunny day to do that.
