I have lost my weight, and now I have more wrinkles on my face and my face looks sunken in and I cant believe how much older I look!!!
What is going on????
Has anyone seem to notice this happening to them? I am 43 and all these new wrinkles are scaring me!

It because your losing all the fat deposits that were previously keeping your skin puffed out,
once you have been at goal awhile and the weight stablizes, the fat that is left on your body will redistribute so you should lose that sunken in look....

but while your contuning to lose weight it could get worse before it gets better...

I agree with Linda.  I will probably improve and you will get use to it :)  I am still told that I look much younger, so I think its well worth it, besides all of the health benefits.

It happens......Reality.....

deflated......

With skin..... no take backs......like the elastic on a blown out pair of underwear......damaged beyond repair......

In my case.... it's my own fault..... I'm the one that stretched out my own skin.......

Me too. I used to be a chubby cheeks and was proud I had few wrinkles at age 58. Then I deflated and they appeared. It is true though that after a time, things do kind of settle in and look better. One thing I do is use retin-A and I believe it helps. Guess I will have to save for a face lift. But I will take the wrinkes over all that fat! Treat yourself to a salon facial.  Diane

People tell me that I look younger, but I tend to see the turkey neck and saggy skin. I'll take the present look, compared to the one filled with fat. Small price to pay, for one hundred pounds gone and the wonderful health benefits.

I think, some of yours might  improve with redistribution, as the previous posters said.

Mine is stretched beyond repair.  But then again, I'm 61 and have been going up and down the scale since I was 7.  As Frisco said, I did it to myself.

I looked in your profile to see if you had posted any before/after pictures and I see you didn't.  I can honestly say that out of all the before/after pictures I have seen - a majority, and I mean 99%, the person looks so much YOUNGER than where they started.  I am certain that that is probably true for you, as well.  Most people look so much better with the weight gone.
