Thanks- I have great respect for you also. I really, truly feel like people have to learn to know themselves- what they can deal with long terms as well as knowing themselves physically. People who take the time to get in tune with themselves are better off in every aspect. Even though I do things my way, I very much appreciate how you are there to guide people towards a path that will work for the majority!

Happy three year anniversary. You've always been such an inspiration to me. I hope the deficiencies are under control soon! Thanks for sharing. Just as a side note, I read something about niacin just now after reading your post and it talked about supplementing with brewer's yeast??? Maybe you can check it out. And I agree 100% on the sweeteners. They can do awful things to people and Equal has especially been linked to some pretty bad things. You've renewed my determination to get off Splenda. Again, congrats! :)

Thank you! I feel like I hide behind the curtains since I am not in your face with advice and stuff, just in general, but I have always wanted to support everyone where I can.. and I appreciate all the friends and connections that have formed along the way.

I checked out the brewers yeast- it seems promising for supplementation. I am going to bring it up at my next appointment to see what the dr thinks in regards to taking it while I am on the 1000 dose of niacin... If that is a no go I will add it in after I get the levels up...

Thank you Lee! I realized at some point that I could count on my fingers the number of pics I had of myself and my girls together before my sleeve.. and I vowed that would not happen again.. I was gonna capture the memories of us TOGETHER.. someday I am gonna really cherish those too- they grow up SO fast!

Fawn, I have so few pics of me and my son when he was young. He's 37 now, and when we're on vacation, I ask people all over the place to snap our picture together. Good for you capturing all those memories while they're still young. This surgery certainly gives a new opportunity to change how we've always done things.
