Wow Val, that look ouchy.  Keep up the shakes and you will heal up real good.  Try to get 125 - 150 grams of protein a day for at least 4 weeks and your wound will do better.  Keep your chin up, it will be better soon.

Ouie!  You had the anchor cut?  Hopefully you're not feeling any pain and won't before it's all finished healing.  Wishing you a speedy recovery without the itchies!

Lee the itches have started. I noticed them yesterday. My pain is great as long as I stay on my pain drugs.

Valerie, people on the plastics forum say that bendryl helps a lot when the itchies get intense.  I'm so glad your pain is managed!  I have a friend who was in surgery on Friday for 10 hours for a face lift.  When I talked to her Saturday morning she said she wasn't taking any pain meds and was feeling no pain.  I thought that was amazing as I hear that the face is the worst of it.

wow lee your friend must be tough. There is no way i can go with out pain medication. Thanks about the bendryl i will have to send my husband to the store for some. I am able now to get up from a laying position as long as the pills are working. When I get up the first thing in the am it kills but a few hours later after medication I am able to get up and down.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
