- Here's the most important piece of information I picked up from the OH conference. Survey was done amoungst WLS patients the ones that are sucessful follow these mantras. I'm going to live the rest of my life to live up to these:
Personal Accountability - I recognize that I alone am responsible for my success and my failure.
Portion Control - I understand the importance of satiety and listen to my body's signals.
Nutrition - I make good healthy food choices each day (Protein first).
Fluid Intake - I drink the right amount of the right beverage at the right time each day. (No carbonation, no caffeine)
Regular Exercise - I have adopted the habit of exercise as part of my lifestyle.
Vitamins - I take good quality vitamins each day to ensure my good health

104.2 today. That's more like it. It took about a week to get back to my comfort zone after Disneyland. I still want to go down about .5 pound but there is no urgency about it. I think most of the weight I gained was really sodium induced anyway. Love, love, love my sleeve. My husband came back from his band practice yesterday with 15 lbs. of fresh tuna. His buddy just came back from a fishing trip in Mexico. Anyone have any good tuna recipes?
