Wow Trish, I'm so glad you're feeling motivated.  Isn't that why we're all here posting about our journey, to help ourselves and to help others along the way if it works out that way!

Do you really think you'd like to give this a go? I could use a low carb buddy for accountability!  :)

That's right, we do motivate each other, and support each other on this board.  We're being "good influences" on each other.  I love that!!!!

I would love to have a low carb buddy.  I'm going to go through my recipes, make a shopping list,  and form my plan today.  What do you shoot for calorie wise?

I track in myfitnesspal.  I think I lose best at between 800-900 calories a day but at 20 months out that's sometimes hard for me to stick to.  I can see my calories drifting up into the 1000-1200 range.  I want to get them back down so it will take careful planning.  I'm not a recipe person.  I eat plain meat and romaine with a little blue cheese dressing or else a steamed/roasted veggie.

I'll send you a friend request and we can take this offline.  :)

That sounds good Lee.  I would like that.  I think that 800-900 is about perfect.  I track with OH, but I tracked and have an account with fitness pal for years.

Hi Trish, congratulations on your success!  Don't be so hard on yourself...it took me 22 months to get where I am.  It takes some of us a little longer and you know how much I exercise.  You are doing very well, my friend!

Well happy anniversary

I think you've done great and that you truly are a success story and I do get that you were depressed (you just lost the bigger picture there for a minute and the 17 benefits you posted just slipped your mind). Our expectations can ruin things.

And you're not supposed to be perfect. You're supposed to be you.

Congrats to you- you ARE a success!

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
