Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Lovely family Wanda...thanks for sharing!  By the way, how those arms doing?  I'm next for arms on Nov 2.  I'm scared...

Hi Laura.  Arms are healing nicely.  Stitches came out last Friday.  I have a spot under my right arm pit that had a little infection in it, so am putting antibiotic ointment on it and gauze every day.  I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks.  It looks good now, but I'm going to keep putting the ointment on it until it scabs over like the rest.  The first sign of infection was that I noticed an odor, so I called the surgeon and went to see my PCP.  She prescribed the antibiotic and instructed me on how to apply wet gauze.  She spoke to my surgeon too, which was nice so I didn't have to drive the 2 hours to see the surgeon.

I have been pretty amazed at how well this has gone.  I was limited on what I could do until the stitches came out, but the scar is completely numb, so no pain.  Once a while, I'll have a little twitch of pain, but nothing that needs drugs.  lol

So, don't be scared.  It's a slow going process for healing - at least it seems to be since I'm restricted on what I can do, but it really hasn't been too bad.  The worst part in the very beginning was getting dressed.  I really needed assistance from my DH for the first week or so.  Just make sure you have plenty of zip up or button up shirts, because you won't be able to pull anything over your head for awhile.  After a couple of weeks, I could pull on a tank top that was stretchy, then wear a jacket over that.  Even now, if it isn't somewhat stretchy, it's a little bit of a challenge to get dressed.

Thanks for the all the tips Wanda.  I'm glad to hear you're doing well.  My PS is 3 hours away also.  With the LBL he kept me in a hotel for a full 2 weeks so I would be close to him, but this time I get to go home in a couple of days.  I guess this is why I'm nervous.  I'm doing inner thighs as well...unless I chicken out, LOL.
