Your guidance and support

 As a new VSG-er, I want to take a moment to thank you 'vets' who have given me hope and guidance over the last several months while I was learning all about the process.  Fortunately, I have been blessed to have chosen a surgeon who offers great info; which books are good to read, which websites are good to follow, as well as a wonderful support group within his office.  I've had about 8 months to do my research and feel as though I came to this decision with open eyes.  That being said, it's kind of scary to see how many people don't have this great educational support or take advantage of the information that's out there.  

So don't give up on us, we still need the wisdom of the ages from you guys (as well as the occasional recipe from Frisco).  Thank you for taking so much time from your busy lives to enhance our journey.

Ditto the OP. I was actually thinking about posting something very similar! I really enjoy this maintenance board both for the tips/hints/suggestions, but also for the motivation I sometimes need (damn you carbs!).
