Turning 60 while not fat

The fog did clear in some areas!
Curious, which restaurant.... Moonstone Grill? Seascape? Sunset Restaurant? or is it Larrupin?

we went to the sunset. they have crab cakes appetizer that i get for dinner and bring one of them home. plus won $12 and there was a sunset. a nice evening. all those places are great but I like the sunset the best.  and they don't bat an eye if you get just an appetizer for your dinner. Diane

 Will have to go there sometime and try their crab cakes. I make some pretty good ones when fresh dungeness is available. Lynda

Well said, Diane.  I turned 60 in July and I feel pretty much the same way about not having regrets about all those fat years.  I've always enjoyed life.  I think that my enjoyment was lacking and diminishing as I aged, and I didn't like it.  Thus VSG saved me and let me enjoy life even more than I thought possible.  Our golden years are truly going to be golden!!

Well we had a lovely dinner - still can only eat one crab cake and a huge glass of wine. Brought the other cake home for today. The sun was out and there was a nice sunset. Won $12 in the casino. whoopee I am rich. Hubby got me red roses (ok i dropped a big hint) but here they are. Now I get some senior discounts and I can take regular classes at our local university for only $50 and I am gonna take advantage of that for sure!!   Only bad news is my health insurance premium goes up. Don't those dummies know that I am much more healthy now than I was at age 50?

Oh well, its a sunny day, my husband has a choir concert tonight and I can enjoy the day pretty much how ever I please. Will do art. Life is good.     And while I don't exactly really like how I look like Cindy, I am ok with it and I do like how I look dressed. Was noticing my slim shadow last night in the restaurant parking lot and thought "not bad for a 60 year old". Still have my hair and teeth too!!
