Your arms are already slinky and they are still surgerypuffed!!
They did tell you (me, being repeaty, but still..) that elevated as much as you can is the best way for your arms, yes? so like sleeping (are you a back sleeper) with arms propped up on pillows, and during the course of your day, as much as you can keep your arms elevated helps the lymph not *stay* in those extremities!!
You probably know all of this and I am just being a repeater in case they did not say, or you might have had enough sedation to not keep that on the front burner in your mind!!
Muwah girlie!

I've been keep them elevated most of the time. 'cept when pottying. lol I've been sleeping in the recliner because it's easier to keep the pillows in place, thus the arms stay where they need to be too.
Yes even with the swelling, my arms are skinny minny! I can't wait to go sleeveless....maybe a trip to Georgia during the winter months would allow that?!
Thanks Trish. It's almost surreal to see skinny arms, although it was pretty obvious even before surgery that the top part of my arms is quite small. Can't wait to start building some muscle there. I'm sure I'll lose any progress I've made over the past 8 months of exercising, but should regain that strength more quickly than I would if I hadn't been exerrcising beforehand.
