This 5 day pouch thing is working so well for you!  Good job.  I don't have any answers except to keep your protein up and carbs down.  Stick to natural carbs - those found in fruit, veggies, dairy products.  Stay away from flour based anything!

Some people might not support my WLS decision. 
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Great job, Deon!  I say just stick with the high protein/low carb mindset and get your carbs from fruits and veggies.  I normally stay away from pasta, breads, potatoes, etc. and all carbonated beverages.  I think it might be a little easier for me though because I don't drink alcohol (never really developed a taste for it).  Otherwise, I think if you mind your protein and fluid intake, the carbs will kinda take care of themselves.

I didn't quite make the full 5 days on the test.  I ran a 14k this morning with my husband and daughter so I did have oatmeal for breakfast yesterday and a little chicken alfredo ziti but I definitely didn't OVERDO it.  

Congratulations on your progress.  I hope this gives you the encouragement you needed to get back on track with your weightloss.
