I'm alive
Back at hotel. Have drains in both arm pits. They are uncomfortable…like they’re digging into my skin. Have to empty them every 4 hours. Left one is collecting blood, but the right one just a dribble. They said it may not drain. Pain med every 4 hrs. I’ve had a nap already since getting to hotel bout 2:30. Ate a couple of crackers and a protein bar. Sure hope these drains come out tomorrow!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

My drains came out of my elbows. I'm not sure which would be worse, heh heh.... Anyway, all that yucky stuff will be over before you know it, you will have healed in no time (well, it doesn't feel like no time, but in hindsight it will be!), and you will be swingin' without swayin' ... or should that be swayin' without swinging'???

That simply FREAKS ME OUT! Well, elbows or armpits ... or lower abdomen (tummy tuck) or breasts (reduction) or back (spinal surgery) .... Drains are gross wherever they are! The elbows were no worse than any of the others, HA!

Glad to hear it Wanda. Hope things are not too unpleasant and that they get those drains out soon. Demand room service often and just think about all the cute short sleeved stuff you will be able to wear in the spring or maybe even this fall if it stays warm. congrats on getting this done. I am envious as my wings are still flapping about. Rest up. Diane
