Marie
You are so right Marie. I preach the same thing and yet I have a cow when the scale shows a pound or two. I have been whining lately about a couple of pounds that may be related to a new medicine I am taking or also being full of you -know- what. But it seems to be sort of stablizing and I think it will be ok. Some people can go up or down two or three pounds in a day. We all know we shouldn't be obsessed by that scale but more concerned with maintaining our new good habits. thats the key. are we tracking food if we need to and are we avoiding the refined carbs and getting our protein in? Those are the habits that we need to adhere to. We are now in this for the long haul and not for a day or two's fluctuations. I need to remind myself of this too. Diane
This is why I take a weekly weight and compare my weight to the week before, and previous weeks, to see if I see any trends developing. I do weigh myself daily, but I am becoming used to the daily fluctuations, and look for trends on a weekly and monthly basis. There are so many variables such as exercise, fluid intake, sodium intake, and whatever else.
