Sounds like a plan!  I'll be sure to let you know how it goes every day too.  I'm going to send you a friend request because so it'll be easier to keep in touch.

Enjoy your games this weekend!

Talk to you soon,

Welcome back Deon.  I remember you because there's not very many people on the board from your part of town.   You did this once, you can do it again.  Quit throwing on the guilt because it only fuels that cycle of self-hatred.  When that voice comes on, change the channel to one that will help you succeed.  We need to be our own best support, but next best is coming to this place where you can be honest and keep up your best trying whether it takes several goes of it or not.  Pick one thing you can change for today and as you get successful with that one thing, add another to piggyback onto that success.  Before you know it, you'll have a new toolbelt filled with great ways to avoid the same pitfalls you fell into before.

Sorry about that nasty surgery and all the complications!

Hi Lee,

I can see you understand what i am going through. The guilt kills all attempts for me.

I will surely try the one thing at a time method, and let you know how it works.

Thanks
Deon.

HI Deon,

Good to see you again.  I am sorry for the difficulties you have been through.  I am so proud of you for coming back to OH, that is the first step of many you will take to get to your goal.

I wish you lots of luck with the 5 DPT and hope you come here daily and tell us your weight loss, on the Daily Weigh In thread, so that we can cheer you on.

Big hugs,

Cindy

Hi, Deon!

It's nice to see you again--please rejoin us...we are all here to support each other and that includes times when things aren't going so well. You are NOT a loser OR a failure. This whole journey is for the rest of our lives, and I think we all have or will experience times when we turn to those old habits. There is a reason why we formed them in the first place, after all. So please, feel welcomed and supported!!!!!

Im sorry your going through such a struggle with your old habbits... I too had a regain, i did mine through gaining new habbits but a gain still the same i put back on over 20lbs..

i didnt do the 5 day pouch test because i dont think its long enough to completly detox.. so what i did was went back to the start of my program and progressed through it again..

what i was eating was cakes and canoli and coffee my husband was bringing me as treats.. so i had to get rid of the carb monster and have it gone long enough so it was no longer an issue,,

Its almost been 2 months now since i have had any junk and i only have 3.5-4lbs to go to get back to where i want to be...

please do check in often,,, and please do not feel alone there are others out there that know what its like to go through some regain ..

I found that going back on plan was nothing like pre op, i still have my restriction when i eat meat first.. what i did find is by re doing my program the restriction improved much more than i had even expected..

so hugs im sure you can do it...
