Hello me lovelies,
Long time since i have been here. I have been walking around with a leaking small intestine with a hole in my tummy where all the stuff was leaking out for 18 months after gauze inserted during a hernia opp punctured the intestine.
I finaly had it repaired in May this year, but during this time i have gone on to all my old habits. Chips ,bread etc etc.
I am now so down on myself as i have picked up about half the weight i lost with the surgery.
I am back in the circle of eating---guilt -   eating- guilt etc etc.
I feel like such a loser for throwing away all the money i paid for the opp, and all that pain and suffering was for nothing.
Anyway, just venting,.
I guess i stay away from the OH as I see how well everyone is doing, and that makes me feel even worse.
I am so proud of all of you.  You have done great.
Love to all,
Deon.

Hey Deon.....

Never to late to do a re-start.......

This time you can do it with much more knowledge than before......

Reel it back in.....Download a known successful eating plan and start from day one.....or day 31.....

By one month you'll be down a good chuck of weight than get on a good consistent eating regime....

You can do this..... you got the tool.....use it !!!!

Hi Frisco,

Thanks for the reply.

I decided that i will go on the pouch test from monday just to give me a kick start, and then check in with you guys on a regular basis just to keep me focussed.

My mind tells me that i could not diet in the past , how will i do it now, but i need to take some action now, otherwise i am going to end up just where i started.

Regards
Deon.

 HI Deon!

I remember you a little bit - come around regularly & it will help I think.

chips, like ice cream, are not the answer.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

HI Deon!  Nice to meet you.

You've been through a lot with the hernia issues and subsequent repairs.  Now that you are back to good health, it's time to get back into fighting shape.  You can do it-you've done it before.  Your tool is still there, so like Frisco said, just dig out your eating plan, dust it off and use it like a newbie.

I think the 5 day pouch test will be helpful because it will allow you to detox from junk and you will be able to feel the power of your tiny tummy again.  I'm getting ready to start it on Saturday.  We can be 5dpt buddies.

Keep your head up and remember why you did this surgery in the first place.  Sorry if I sound too much like a cheerleader but I don't want you to give up on yourself-you've come too far to stop now.  You are worth all the time and effort.  Now take all that energy you are using on guilt, frustration, and bad eating and channel it back into treating yourself and your body better.

We are all here for you.  Don't be a stranger!

Hi DG,
Thank you for taking the time out to send an encouraging message.
It will be nice to do the pouch test with someone. we can compare progress, which will probly motivate me.I will start on Monday, as this weekend isthe start of the Rugby world cup tournament and there are several get togethers planned to view the games.  There will be food, and will be the wrong time for me to start with all the temptations around me.

So monday for sure< and I will check in daily.

Love
 Deon.
